Safety is our number one priority and we work hard to ensure your safety on every trip.

All our captains, engineers and guides undergo extensive training to ensure your safety onboard. The crewmembers provide safety vests upon boarding. Children under the age of 12 are required to wear them during the length of the tour. At the beginning of each tour our experienced guides go over all safety information onboard and where to locate safety vests and rescue boats/life rafts/personal flotation devices.

All safety regulations of the Icelandic Maritime Administration are met and fulfilled.

All crewmembers have finished STCW training at the Maritime Safety and Survival Training Centre in Reykjavik.
